Description

At NAPB 2021 and 2022, everyone wanted to talk about supply chain resiliency – the concept of keeping the supply chain running even through disruptions. COVID was a big driver of this topic, yet now in 2023, resiliency already seems to be a thing of the past. For many, resiliency is like insurance – companies don’t want to pay for it until they really need it, and then they are happy to have it. This session will kickoff with a presentation led entirely by Ducker Carlisle based on our research and perspectives on the topic. We’ll cover resiliency topics such as dual sourcing, using multiple ports and/or carriers, carrying more inventory in the network, and more. After the introductory presentation, we’ll pivot to OEM-based discussion, highlighting participating companies who have stories to share in this space.
